Mining Courses
Hands-on, accredited machine operator courses — from Excavator and TLB to Superlink and Drill Rig — taught on real equipment in Pretoria. Most courses run 1 week.
Every course on this page is built around one outcome: putting a competent, confident operator behind the controls of real earthmoving and mining equipment. Whether you're starting out on a Front End Loader or working toward a Superlink licence, training is delivered hands-on, in small groups, with practical assessment on the machine itself.
Skills development and quality assurance in South Africa's mining and minerals sector is coordinated by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA), the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) established under the Mine Health and Safety Act. Occupational qualifications on this page also draw on the framework maintained by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
